10 killed, 2 abducted in Borno after Boko Haram attack

Gunmen suspected to be members of dreaded Boko Haram terrorists Wednesday waylaid motorists in Madari village of Kukawa local government area of Borno state, killing 10 people, while a young aged woman and her two years old child were abducted.
A driver who fled from the scene, Mallam Abor Modu said they were coming back from cross Kawa today at about 2:30 Pm when the terrorists’ appeared in about 10 vehicles including an LX 470 jeep and opened fire on Motorists plying the Maiduguri- Baga road in a village called Madari.
He said “I had to stop with five of my passengers when I saw a Chadian resembling Boko Haram terrorist in a Hilux Vehicle mounted with Multi Purpose Machine gun opening fire sporadically on any vehicle he came across”.
